All three regions have a lot to offer. You can enjoy outdoor, active holidays close to nature or experience cultural Italy. There is something for everyone.
Umbria is a rural region. Besides the large cities it has many small towns and villages, often beautifully restored and with a wide variety of museums and sights to see. There are many celebrations and festivities organized throughout the year that attract Italians from far. These events almost always include food and drink specialities from the region, a delight for all the senses.
Tuscany is by far the most well-known of the three regions with its beautiful cities, landscapes and coastal areas. There are lots of wineries and large markets, such as the one in Arezzo. However, it can be very busy during summer.
Marche has a very extensive coastline with many beaches and resorts such as Fano, Pesaro and Senigallia. Besides this there are many nature parks: Monte Sibillini, Monte Cucco, the Frassasi caves and the Passo del Frulo. A very diverse and pretty region.
